Tractor-Trailer Overturns, Shuts Down I-270 During Monday Morning Commute In Maryland
A stretch of I-270 was shut down during rush hour on Monday morning when a tractor-trailer struck another driver and overturned in Frederick County.

At approximately 8:30 a.m. on June 16, first responders were called to the northbound lanes of the interstate near MD-109, where the crash was reported, blocking several lanes.
According to officials, a driver and two passengers were able to safely get out before first responders arrived. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries.
Shortly before 11 a.m. on Monday morning, all lanes were reopened after the tractor-trailer was righted and removed from the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
