Authorities said Friday, Aug. 1, that a Tuckerton man, 48, had died in a collision on the Garden State Parkway in Galloway.

According to New Jersey State Police spokesman Jeffrey Lebron, a Toyota passenger car driven by Frank Ippolito lost directional control, veered off the Garden State Parkway, and collided with a tree at 12:12 a.m. on Friday, July 25.
According to Lebron, Ippolito was declared dead at the spot.
Ippolito was a native of Stafford who, according to his obituary from Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, worked as an electrician after graduating from Southern Regional High School in 1995.
According to his obituary, Ippolito was a huge sports lover who enjoyed going to the gym. He also enjoyed music, movies, and taking care of both large and tiny animals.
According to his obituary, he is survived by his siblings Danielle, Spencer, Michael, and Rosalie, his parents, Donna-Marie and Frank, his stepmother, Rose, and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.
According to his obituary, a funeral will take place at Stafford’s Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home on Sunday, August 3 from noon to four p.m.
