Van Driver Killed In Head-On Crash With Pennsylvania Man In Westminster, State Police Say
According to Maryland State Police, a van driver was killed in a head-on collision with a guy from Pennsylvania who had over the center line on a Carroll County roadway.

According to state police, troopers arrived at the scene of a tragic collision on Maryland Route 97 close to Humbert Schoolhouse Road in Westminster at around two in the morning on Saturday, July 26.
According to investigators, a 2016 GMC Canyon was moving north when it abruptly crossed the center line and collided with a 2011 Ford E-350 van that was going the other way.
Carroll County EMS personnel declared the van driver, who has not been publicly identified, dead at the site. He was the only person in the car. Authorities are awaiting word from his next of kin.
According to authorities, the truck driver, 36-year-old Christopher Wolf of New Oxford, Pennsylvania, was transported to York Hospital to receive medical attention for his wounds.
The investigation is still ongoing, and the Maryland State Police Crash Team responded. The conclusion is still pending charges.
