Dennis Santana Charges Fan In Bullpen Blowup
A miss and a swing.

Dennis Santana, a reliever for the Pittsburgh Pirates, comes under fire for pursuing a fan while warming up in Detroit, and a supporter was ejected.
A spectator in the stands recorded the incident, which took place during the second game of the Pirates vs. Tigers split doubleheader.
Inside the bullpen at Comerica Park, Santana is seen in the video jawing with a spectator who was later ejected before jumping toward the seats and swiping at him.
Although Santana allegedly dismissed the incident after the game, it is unknown what was spoken between the two to cause it.
According to The Athletic, Santana stated through an interpreter, “You guys know me and know my temper.” I’m a composed individual. They simply went too far a few of times. That’s how I want it to stay.
He said, “As I mentioned, they went too far too often.” It was excessive, but it doesn’t excuse the behavior.
Before being removed due to a rain delay, Santana joined the game in the ninth inning. The fireworks happened during the game, not after the Pirates’ 8–4 victory on Thursday.
