Volunteer Firefighter Joseph LeViness, Brown Mills Native, Dies At 29
According to a fundraising started for his family, 29-year-old Brown Mills resident Joseph LeViness passed away on Tuesday, August 5, after suffering single ventricle congenital heart disease and living with protein-losing enteropathy.

According to his obituary on the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals website, LeViness was a volunteer firefighter and a military contractor who lived in Brown Mills his entire life.
According to his obituary, he liked to paint, cook, play pool, go to the movies, do woodworking, and garden in his spare time. According to his obituary, he also collected coins and military relics.
According to LeVinness’s obituary, he is left by his wife, his high school love Danyela, his parents, James and Susanne, his siblings, James, Lars, and Marcel, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
According to his obituary, he loved taking his daughter to the Zoom and the aquarium, and he loved taking his son fishing.
To help Danyela with her funeral expenses and family assistance, a fundraiser has been established. The total amount raised as of Monday, August 11 is over $8,600.
The funeral will take place at St. Ann’s Church in Brown Mills on Tuesday, August 12 at 11 a.m. According to his obituary, he will be laid to rest in Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery in Mount Laurel.
