Romaine Williamson Attacked Woman, Then Hid From Deputies

After allegedly attacking a woman at a shoe sale and attempting to hide in a bedroom when deputies arrived, a guy wanted for repeated attacks was apprehended in Virginia, according to authorities.
The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 8:38 p.m. on Monday, June 30, deputies were called to a residence on Dover Place after a lady reported being beaten while attempting to purchase Jordan sneakers.
A crazy series of events began when the woman tried to purchase the shoes at Romaine Williamson’s house in Stafford but was assaulted in the process.
According to investigators, Williamson, 30, was wanted on four counts of assault and violence and wearing a mask in public. He allegedly refused to come out when deputies arrived to look into the most recent assault.
Williamson was arrested without more incident after deputies entered the house and discovered him trying to hide in a bedroom.
According to the sheriff’s office, Williamson was arrested and charged with further counts of assault and battery as well as obstruction of justice.
He is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
